- THE INTERNATIONAL PATTERN & ITS ANOMALIES -

-65-

The next deck shows a repeated series of 3 designs on the courts. The K's and J's hold a spray (paint) can and a paint roller. The suitcolours seem to be freshly painted and dripping.

The deck was printed in China in 2005/06 and published in the US by Ecko Unltd. This brand of clothing was named after it's founder: Mark Ecko.

The deck consists of 52 cards and 2 jokers.

The following deck in this xpo is a bit of a mystery to us. We haven't been able to determine its origin. Maybe Spanish, maybe Mexican?

Anyway, we end with the variation that started the xpo too: the insert photo's. Here a repeated series of 2 inserts, showing TV-star Miguelito Valdes, international star, on K's and Armando Rodriguez, TV-star, on the J's. The Q's are represented by 2 TV-stars: Merceditas Menendez and Nieda Revuelta. Their names are mentioned on one side of the courts. On the opposite side the give their opinion about a drink, based on Smirnoff vodka.
