- THE INTERNATIONAL PATTERN & ITS ANOMALIES -

-54-

The next Dutch deck shows 3 basic designs for the center part and heads. The latter have been mirrored in two suits. Only the Kings have an attribute, that have not been mirrored along with the heads on the Kings of Clubs and Diamonds. A different basic color for each suit is used. A first glance only the complexity of the center design and the blank faces of the courts remind us of the international pattern.
The use of Dutch indicators H (=Heer), V (=Vrouw), B (=Boer) and the Dutch scenic aces (photo's) make it an educated guess to qualify this as a Dutch deck.

There's no info about the printer . The deck was published for Frijo in 2003 and consists of 52 cards, 2 (identical) jokers and a bridge score card.
