In our collection there are a good number of decks that highlight the old civilizations of South America. Today's contribution to this series is one of the more vintage publications and a double deck to cover the 2 main civilizations: the Inca and the Maya. The decks are mentioned in the Hochman as N20 and N21. The text says that they date from 1948. However, the copyright date is on the Joker in both sets and dates them as 1941. The decks were illustrated by Ariel Baynes and published as Good Neighbor INCA / MAYA Playing Cards by the Association of American University Women. Printed by Brown & Bigelow.
