Today's lockdown deck doesn't have a maker's name or logo and at first I had it down as "maker unknown", but the deck was most likely printed and published by Maximilian Frommann from Darmstadt, Germany, and dates from around 1860. Fine lithographic printing, especially of the faces. The pattern with the sofa as I call it (see QH) has later been produced by his successors (Frommann & Morian and Frommann & Bunte) too. The set of scenic aces shows views of Baden (nowadays Baden Baden) and the surrounding region. The captions are in French, except "Trinkhalle".
