PIN-UP'S & EROTICA

-118-

This classic pin-up deck was printed and published by Cambissa from Italy in 1958. Including the back design, there are 17 different pin-up designs by the Italian artist Franco Mosca. On the extra card "18 deliziose figurine" are mentioned, but the jokers show the same design, although one has a different coloured body suit. Remarkable is the absence of a pin-up design on the ace of hearts, probably due to the fact that in Italy this ace was used to put the tax stamp.

The deck was republished by Modiano around 1998 and in this deck the ace of hearts has a pin-up design. In the Modiano edition most of the designs have been been put on other card values than in this original deck. For example: the QH of this deck became the AH in the Modiano deck.
Here's a list of all the changes:
KS » JD, QS » KH, (JS remained the same), AS » KC.
KH » QH, QH » AH, (JH remained the same)
KC » QD, QC » AD, JC » QS, (AC remained the same)
(KD remained the same), QD was used for the Modiano backdesign, JD » QC, AD » AS.
Joker became KS and the back design became joker in the Modiano deck.
In the Modiano deck an other pin-up design by Mosca (not from this deck) was used for the JC.

The deck consists of 52 cards, 3 jokers and an extra card.
