The deck was designed by Siegfried Heilmeier, a German artist who has designed and published a good number of decks, always in limited and numbered editions. This deck was published as "Paris 1900 Skat" in a limited edition of 99 copies. On the courts and pip cards are different designs, that are based on the early nude photographs from around 1900.
