We bought the deck through Ebay from a Czech seller. The origin is unknown and we've tried to figure out on which occasion it could have been published. The box is a generic plastic box, so that didn't help. At first we thought of the European Championship Football of 2012, which was organized by Poland and the Ukraine. But on the cards non-European countries are mentioned too. So it could have been published for a World Championship tournament. We decided to look at all the depicted countries and found a sort of anomaly among them: Trinidad & Tobago. To our knowledge that country had only participated once in such a tournament, in 2006. That tournament was organized in Germany and as the box looks like those that often hold German quartet games, it's our guess that the deck was printed in Germany and published there as one of the souvenirs of the 2006 World Championship. The fact that it's a 32 cards deck, very common in Germany, could support this "well educated guess".
