PIN-UP'S & EROTICA

Those of you, who have bought our Pin-Up&Erotica CD, will probably think that they recognize these images. The (sadly, unknown) artist is the same and so his style of drawing is too, but if you look at the first "Shapely" deck (Erotica section, page 8 on the CD), you'll see that all these designs are different. This deck is also called "Shapely", but besides the difference in designs, there's a feature that makes it easy to distinct this one from the first Shapely deck: it's dimensions. The deck is much larger and measures 60 x 120 mm. |

The first Shapely deck was made by Angel Playing Cards Co. Ltd. from Yakaichi, Shiga Ken, Japan and published there in 1980. This second Shapely Long Size deck was also printed and published by Angel, but in 1985. Still, somehow this edition isn't seen as often as the first one. |

While in the first deck the suits present seeds, horses, butterflies and a (here unknown) flower, in this deck the flower is a rose and the other suits show birds, goats and snails. |

The deck consists of 52 cards and 2 (similar) jokers.
It
comes in a fitting, plastic box, which probably had a carton sleeve originally
too.
