PIN-UP'S & EROTICA

-36-

This deck was printed in China by the Sa Rui company from Shanghai and published as "Charming Poster Girls Playing Cards" or "No 314" in their line of Pin-Up decks. However, here the box doesn't say "Pin-Up Girls" or "Pin-Up" on the top flap, like in previous editions, but is the text in Chinese. The deck shows 54 different "classic" pin-up's, set against a vague background design. It's not clear if the artwork is Chinese and recent or taken from existing pin-up illustrations from the 1950's.

Note that on the top flap there's Chinese used, where on the previous Sa Rui decks there was the English "Pin-Ups". The Chinese text on the top flap is similar to that on one of the sides. As there's an English text underneath it, we may assume that the Chinese text is translated here.
