December 30

Around 1930 there was no fear yet of getting locked up (or down) on your cruise ship, so the passengers of the Norwegian American Line could calmly enjoy a game of cards with this deck before leaving the ship. The deck was printed in chromolithography by Emil Moestue from Oslo and published for the N.A.L. The pattern was published as Klub and is based on the designs by Andreas Bloch, originally from around 1910. This edition here is special, because the aces show 2 different ships of the N.A.L.
